From a young age, Cheryl has been creating stories, and as soon as she learned what a paragraph was, she began writing stories and plays. By the time she graduated high school, she had completed three full-length YA novels and had begun countless others.
Cheryl has always loved children's literature, YA literature, and good stories. Her philosophy is that a writer must experience life and listen to people in order to write about them. She encourages writers to really commit to not only sitting in front of their computer typing away but also to spending time with others.
Cheryl currently is happily married to her high school sweetheart and working as an executive assistant at a small company. She leads a college/career youth group at her church with her husband and is actively involved in worship at her church as a pianist and worship team leader. She is working on her "first" novel.
